Club Rides

Our well-attended club rides pedal out on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.

Wednesday rides typically leave Hykeham Village Green at 09.30am. Routes are published in advance and are usually around 40-50 miles (65-80km) with typical speeds of between 14-17mph (22-27kph) average. Groups are agreed on the day according to preference and capability. There is a café stop at around half-way and the ride usually returns to the start point just after 13.00pm. LWCC operates a ‘no-drop’ policy and ride leaders ensure that riders of all needs and experience are accommodated.

Sunday rides typically leave Lindum Construction in North Hykeham at 09.00 though times and locations can vary according to the nature of the ride. Routes are published in advance and are usually around 45-65 miles (70-100km) and, depending on numbers, there may be the option of a faster group at 17-18mph (27-29kph) average. There is usually a café stop and, again, we operate a ‘no-drop’ arrangement for all groups.
