On the Stelvio Pass in September 2025; the year the pass turned 200!

Cycling the Stelvio Pass is one of the ultimate challenges for any rider. Rising to 2,758 metres, it’s the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps and a bucket-list climb for cyclists from around the world. The classic ascent from Prato allo Stelvio is legendary: 48 tight hairpins twisting their way up through forests and alpine meadows, before breaking into stark, breathtaking high-mountain scenery.

The climb is tough—24 kilometres at an average gradient of 7.4%—but the reward is incomparable.
